Materials:
- One old or unused necklace, any length
- A string of lace, one inch thick, roughly twice as long as the necklace
Instructions:
First, you have to find a base necklace. This could be any old necklace, and it doesn't even have to be unbroken. For mine, I used a broken necklace that my aunt gave me. It didn't clasp. That's the hard part... ;) Next you match the middle of the lace and the necklace. Make sure they are aligned. Wrap the lace loosely around the necklace, starting at the middle, and then proceeding down to the end of the necklace. When you get to the end, tie the lace to the necklace. Repeat for the other side. Now you have a beautiful strand of lacy fun to wear! To make it an actual necklace, I simply tied it in a bow so that I could wear it. Happy crafting!
