28. Avalon High

This is the book the Disney movie Avalon High is based on. If you've seen the movie; sorry, but in the book, Ellie's not really King Arthur. So here's what it says on the inside cover:
Avalon High seems like a typical high school, attended by typical students: There's Lance, the jock. Jennifer, the cheerleader. And Will, senior class president, quarterback, and all-around good guy. This book is by Meg Cabot, author of The Princess Dairies,and lots of other books. It's 288 pages long, and an all-around GREAT book.

27. The Big Nap

This is kind of an easy reader, but it's still fun to read. All of the books in the series are based on detective movies. They are hilarious!!! Chet Gecko is a gecko private eye whose assistant is a sarcastic mocking bird.

The book is 113 pages long. It is by Bruce Hale.

26. Goddess Girls: Athena the Brain

I had noticed that these books had become popular with my friends last year, so I decided to read them. They are about the Greek gods and goddesses as if they went to a school for the gods. The series starts out with the first book, Athena the Brain. Athena lives on Earth for the first chapter or so until Athena gets a letter from Zeus, King of the Gods and Ruler of the Heaven, not to mention the principal of Mount Olympics Academy. The letter orders Athena to come to Mount Olympics for school, and tells her that she is Zeus' "most favorite daughter in all the universe." The next morning , at MOA, Athena befriends the most popular goddess girls in MOA, Aphrodite, goddess girl of love and beauty, Persephony, goddess girl of flowers, and Artemis, goddess girl of the hunt and the moon.The rest of the book includes inventing, classes on guiding heroes, and an invention fair.The whole series is written by Joan Holub. Athena the brain is 160 pages long. The rest of the books add on to their stories in different perspectives. Here's a list of the books in order(I've read them all:

23. Chasing Vermeer

Chasing Vermeer is about two kids named Calder, and Petra. They have a rather strange(or at least to them) teacher this year. Her name is Ms. Hussey. She let the children in her classroom learn just about whatever they want to. When they focus on art, a priceless painting is stolen. The painting is called "A Lady Writing," and is by Vermeer. Of course, they decided on art BECAUSE of the stolen painting. Petra is hearing the Lady directing her to help. Calder carries magical shapes in his pocket that tell him things. Will Calder and Petra be able to find the painting before it's too late?

I liked this book a lot. It was interesting to see everything come into play. WARNING: you have to pay attention to every little thing in order to figure out who's the thief before it's given. Anyway this book was pretty good. I recommend it. It was 254 pages, and written by Blue Balliett. Here's a pic. of what the book looks like.

22. Fairy Wings(Formerly Titled- Wings: A Fairy Tale)

Fairy Wings is about a girl named Tamisin Warner. She has spreckles(sparkly freckles), pointed ears, and is compelled magically to dance with little colorful lights every time there is a full moon. She thinks she is a perfectly normal teenager, but that quickly changes. One night Tamisin is awakened by a pain in her back. She went into the bathroom to gaze at her back so that she could tell what was wrong, but that didn't go exactly as planned. Tamisin soon finds out that she has fairy wings(thus the title).

I loved this book simply because fairy books intrigue me. Also it was so sweet in the end!!! Oops! spoilers...
Anyway this book's amazing! It even has romance. The author is E.D. Baker. It is 307 pages.

21. Esperanza Rising

Esperanza Rising is about a Mexican girl named Esperanza. She is extremely rich at least... until her father dies on the eve of her birthday. He is killed by "bandits." Or so the uncles that found his body tell Esperanza and her mother. They are forced to move to California after more than one proposal on one of Esperanza's uncle's part. The book is about Esperanza's struggles in the U.S. of A.

It is by Pam Munoz Ryan. It has 262 pages. I loved this book, and I don't usually like Historical Fiction. It's so super good!!!

20. A Study In Scarlet

This is the first Sherlock Holmes book ever created. It's written by Sir Arther Conan Doyle. He was knighted because of his wonderful books. "A Study In Scarlet" is about how Watson (Holmes' assistant) met "Mr. Sherlock Holmes," as a friend refers to him as. Swiftly after meeting Holmes, however, a man is found dead in a mansion. The police have already swamped the place. Will Sherlock Holmes be able to solve the crime the police can't seem to figure out?

This is a really GREAT book. It has some words that might need to be looked up in the dictionary, though... It's nice to read it on a Kindle because you just have to press the word, and there is the definition. There are 129 pages. It's FREE on the Kindle because the copyright has expired. It is SUPER good. I loved it!!!

19. The Lightning Thief

   The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan is all-around an amazing book. It is about a boy named Percy who is on his sixth boarding school- here's the problem;
   he's only in sixth grade. Worst of all, he found out that the Greek Gods are alive and well... Zeus's master lightning bolt is missing, and he thinks Percy stole it! Percy and his newly-found friends have ten days to find out who did take the bolt, and they're running out of time.

17. THE HUNGER GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hunger Games is the best book EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has almost everything. I love the part in the cave! Spoiler alert! The ending is the best part! Peeta and Katniss getting out together? That's so sweet! If you haven't read it, toon out the last two sentences. Whose team are you on? Gale or Peeta? I'm on Peeta for sure.

16. Supernaturally

Supernaturally is the sequel to Paranormalcy. Here is a piece from the Acknowledgments:
(Guys, I just don't know who should kiss who. Imaginary characters? Real people? I want to thank Snow Patrol, Paramore, and Ingrid Michaelson, but I don't think they should kiss each other. However, if anyone tried to kiss Lend, Evie would Tase them, and then the acknowledgments would get way too violent.)
It's as good as, if not better than, the first book. I can't wait for more!

I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have To Kill You is one of the best books in the world!!!!!!!!! It's a young adult book by the

awesome Ally Carter. It's about a spy named Cammie in an all girls spy school. Her mom's the principal, and her dad is dead. Cammie hasn't really interacted with boys all that much until she goes on a CoOps mission and meets one... Need less to say, Cammie goes behind her mother's back to visit him. She has never had this much confusion over anything.

The Dragon Princess is the 5th book in the series. It's awsome!

4.Once upon a curse

This book is the second book in the series. It is the best book ever!

2.The Frog Princess

This book was the best! It has magic and adventure. It is a very very very good book.
